The Zimbabwe senior men’s national football team, “The Warriors”, have arrived in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia ahead of their international friendly against Algeria.
Led by Head Coach Marian Mario Marinica, the squad features a mix of local-based players, a strong South African contingent, and midfielder Jonah Fabisch, who has already joined camp. The other European-based players are expected to complete arrivals today, giving the technical team a full squad for the first session.
Coach Mario said the team is eager to use the friendly to fine-tune combinations and build cohesion ahead of future international competitions:
“This match is an important test as we continue to shape our identity and prepare for AFCON 2025.”
The Warriors will hold their first training session today at 1600hrs (KSA time) as preparations gather momentum.
