The Zimbabwe Football Association (ZIFA) issues this statement to outline the circumstances surrounding the non-selection of Mr. Marshall Munetsi for the Warriors squad submitted for the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), in accordance with applicable CAF regulations and the FIFA Club Protection Programme (2023–2026).

The ZIFA Electoral Committee wishes to reshare the official list of verified delegates for the upcoming Eastern and Northern Region elections. This renewed publication reinforces our commitment to transparency, statutory compliance, and a credible electoral process. We thank all stakeholders for their continued cooperation.

The ZIFA Electoral Committee advises the football community that verification of the voter rolls that were sent to them has been completed. This process included confirmations with all constituencies, i.e Regions, Provinces, Area Zones, Women’s Football, Futsal, and Beach Soccer.
