The countdown is over as the inaugural BancABC Roots Impact Leagues get underway on Saturday, 4 July 2026, marking the beginning of an exciting new chapter in Zimbabwe’s football development pathway.
The competition, which forms part of the wider BancABC Roots Impact Programme, will bring together talented young players from across the country’s ten provinces in the Under-14 and Under-16 boys’ and girls’ categories. Designed to provide regular competition, talent identification opportunities and player development, the leagues will serve as a key platform for the discovery of future national team stars.
