The Zimbabwe Warriors continued their preparations for next week’s crucial international friendly against Algeria with an intense training session at the King Abdul Aziz Sporting Arena under the guidance of newly appointed head coach Mario Marinica and his assistant Kaitano Tembo.

The session was characterized by high energy, tactical drills, and a strong sense of unity as the national team embraced a new technical direction under Marinica’s leadership. Players responded with focus and enthusiasm, reflecting renewed belief and confidence within the camp.

“The energy is excellent. The boys are showing hunger and professionalism. This camp is about setting standards, physical, tactical, and mental,” said Marinica, who emphasized discipline and swift transitions as key pillars of his coaching approach.

Team morale is exceptionally high, with both technical and medical departments reporting positive progress ahead of the Warriors’ highly anticipated clash against Algeria at the Prince Abdul Aziz Stadium on November 13, 2025.

ZIFA officials confirmed that the entire squad is expected to be in camp by tomorrow, marking the final phase of the team’s preparations.

As the Warriors train under the Saudi Arabian sun, optimism continues to grow that this marks the beginning of a new era for Zimbabwean football, one built on professionalism, structure, and national pride.
