The Council of Southern Africa Football Associations (COSAFA) has announced the postponement of the 2025 COSAFA Women’s Championship.

In a circular released on 20 October 2025, COSAFA confirmed that the decision follows the current unavailability of a host nation for this year’s edition of the regional competition. COSAFA is engaging potential hosts to ensure the successful delivery of the tournament, which is now expected to take place in the first quarter of 2026. Further details regarding the new dates and venue will be communicated in due course.

ZIFA acknowledges and supports COSAFA’s commitment to maintaining the high standards of women’s football across the Southern African region and looks forward to the tournament’s rescheduled staging.
